Job Purpose:
McConnell is a Principal Contractor who deliver external refurbishment, modernisation and planned maintenance services for public and private sector property owners across the UK. - Location: Glasgow/South Lanarkshire
- Salary: Depending on experience
- Working Hours: Permanent Full Time 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 3.30pm on Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting joiners, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, painters, and other trades
- Loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards
- Removing old kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and fixtures
- Carrying out strip-out and demolition work safely
- Disposing of waste materials into skips and ensuring correct recycling procedures
- Cleaning properties before handover.
Experience:
- Experience of working on social housing projects is preferred
- Driving Licence essential
- Clear communicator
- Self-motivated and organised
