We are seeking an enthusiastic Chef to develop, prepare and serve quality food in a professional manner.
Oakdene Holiday Park is a busy holiday park restaurant with a fantastic menu and weekly specials, and unlike most holiday parks you will have the chance to prepare more fresh and exciting dishes alongside a fantastic Head Chef and kitchen team with passion.
Previous kitchen experience is necessary, and this role would perfectly suit a candidate who is looking to progress and learn more and create more from scratch!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare special dishes.
- Develop new recipes.
- Monitor the production of food items.
- Develop tasting menus.
- Be willing to learn and/or improve chef skills.
- You will need to ensure that food hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained within the workplace.
- You will also be required to manage cost of sales by effective stock management as well as minimising and controlling waste.
This is either a permanent or seasonal position, working 45 hours per week or to the needs of the business. Shifts will be splits and straights between 08.00am and 10.00pm daily including weekends.
Pay: £31,745.00 per year
