Summary

We are looking for someone who:
- Builds warm, positive relationships with young children
- Can support childrens learning under the clear guidance of the class teacher
- Is patient, nurturing and committed to childrens personal, social and emotional development
- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
- Can help children stay on task and engage in structured learning activities
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding
- Has a flexible, proactive approach to supporting the needs of the school
You will be supporting individuals and small groups, helping to monitor progress, assisting with classroom organisation, and contributing to a positive learning environment.
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 or above qualification appropriate to the post
Desirable Qualifications
- First Aid or Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Essential Experience
- Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
- Ability to relate well to children and support their learning
- Ability to supervise and assist pupils
- Good communication skills
Good numeracy and literacy skills

- Experience of working in a classroom or early years environment
- Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage
- Ability to make effective use of ICT
- Organisational and time management skills
