With more than 200 staff from offices in Ashton under Lyne, Leigh and in our supported accommodation projects across the North West, we support over 7,000 people annually through the contracts we manage.
The Prevention Alliance (TPA) is made up of the following five not for profit organisations who work together to deliver Stockport Support Hub and Your Support in Stockport: Age UK Stockport, Jigsaw Support, Nacro, Stockport Homes and Talk Listen Change (TLC).
The TPA are commissioned by Stockport Council to deliver Stockport Support Hub and Your Support.

The service will actively contribute to the delivery of the Council’s ONE Stockport vision, and the ONE Health and Care Plan focusing on early help and prevention with ambitions to improve mental health, target inequalities through neighbourhood working, working to become an Age-Friendly Borough, and supporting the people of Stockport to live their best lives by embedding prevention, reablement and a Home First ethos.
The Boroughwide service will provide the right level of support at the right time to adults aged 18 and over who have wide ranging needs who are Stockport residents.
Role information:
Our Keyworkers provide a single point of contact, and work with people to provide practical support such as finances, housing and access to other support offers to help improve their wellbeing.
You will help people find their own solutions, achieve their goals and improve their wellbeing and independence.
You will provide advice, guidance, and challenge to build resilience and ensure people have networks in place to self-manage and live independently for the future
The role is flexible, and the Keyworker may be required to work across all aspects of the Borough wide Support Service, including Stockport Support Hub and Your Support.
