Night Set Up Porter
We are an independent family run Hotel set in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside with an excellent reputation as a venue for weddings, ceremonies, family celebrations, conferences and meetings. We are recruiting for a Night Porter to join our busy team on a part time basis.
The role of Night Set Up Porter will involve:
- Setting up conference rooms and events spaces, moving chairs, furniture and other items around the site as required
- Ensuring all areas presentable and ready for the daily operations the following days
- To ensure that the venues and immediate gardens are clean, presentable, and tidy
- Maintain service areas and complete regular stocktakes to ensure all equipment is monitored
- Bottle water from our direct source ready for the following day
Requirements/ Responsibilities for Night Set Up Porter:
- Our ideal candidate would have previous hotel experience in a similar role
- All applicants must have a flexible approach to their work and be willing to work the hours required of the business
- An excellent standard of presentation is essential
- Hours will vary depending on the business needs of between 20-40 hrs per week
- Hours may be unsociable covering hours into the early morning post event
- Be knowledgeable on general hotel operations
- Preferably hold a full driver’s license
- We have live in options available
Pay: £13.25 per hour
