We are seeking a compassionate Homecare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals in the comfort of their homes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in homecare, be proficient in care plans, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Support clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Prepare meals and help with feeding if required
- Create and maintain care plans tailored to individual needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with light housekeeping tasks
- Keep accurate records of care provided
Requirements
- Previous experience in homecare or a care home setting is beneficial,
- Proficiency in IT to maintain digital records and communicate effectively
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues
- A valid driving license to travel to clients homes
- Fluent in English for clear communication with clients and team members
