About the Role:
We at Guiding Lights are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established hospital, who are looking for a motivated and proficient Business Development expert to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a solid understanding of the clinical services offered, the healthcare environment, and what competitor organisations are doing.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to grow the hospital's reach, partnerships, and patient or client base.
- Regularly visit existing sites to build on-the-ground relationships and stay informed on day-to-day operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Work alongside the wider team to plan and deliver campaigns that promote the hospital's services.
- Prepare clear reports and updates for senior management on progress, opportunities, and recommendations.
What We're Looking For:
- Experienced in business development, sales, or a client-facing role, ideally within a healthcare or hospital setting.
- A good understanding of how clinical and healthcare services operate day to day.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of people.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, as well as travelling between clinical sites when required.
- A positive, goal-driven attitude with a genuine desire to help the organisation grow.
