Duties
- Develop, test, and deploy applications using programming languages such as PHP and Python
- Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure on platforms including AWS and other Cloud
- Maintain and support various operating systems including Windows and Linux environments
- Design and implement APIs to facilitate seamless integration between different software components
- Oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from planning through deployment and maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions using DevOps practices
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular updates to ensure security and efficiency
- Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline operational workflows
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and industry standards for data security and privacy
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud
- Proficiency in programming languages including PHP and Python
- Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with APIs development and integration techniques
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of database management systems, particularly Oracle databases
- Ability to manage IT infrastructure effectively, ensuring high availability and security
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system optimisation
