We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Decorator with proven experience in both interior and exterior painting and decorating to join our growing team in Greater Manchester. This is a Self Employed Position for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has excellent attention to detail, and can work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities: •
Carry out high-quality interior and exterior decorating across residential and commercial properties
Prepare surfaces, including filling, sanding, and priming, to a professional standard
Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes using appropriate tools and techniques
Ensure all work is completed to client specifications and within agreed timeframes
Maintain cleanliness and safety on-site at all times
Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Accurately follow job specifications and drawings where required Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of professional decorating experience (interior & exterior) Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint types, finishes, and application techniques. Full UK driving licence – required
Good communication and time management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Desirable: • Own tools and equipment (advantageous but not essential)
CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
Previous experience in both residential and commercial settings
