EDSTART is seeking enthusiastic, creative and inspiring Dance Teachers to join our growing team delivering high-quality dance education, enrichment programmes and holiday club activities across primary schools.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about dance, enjoy working with children and want to help young people develop confidence, creativity and a love for performing arts.

The Role
Successful candidates will deliver a range of activities including:
- Curriculum dance lessons within primary schools
- Before and after school dance clubs
- Dance workshops and enrichment activities
- Preparation for school performances and showcases
- Holiday club dance sessions
- Creative movement and choreography projects
You will work closely with schools, pupils and fellow staff members to deliver exciting and inspiring dance opportunities that encourage participation and enjoyment.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience teaching dance to children
- Is enthusiastic, creative and professional
- Can plan and deliver engaging dance sessions for a range of ages and abilities
- Has excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- Encourages confidence, creativity and self-expression
- Is organised, reliable and adaptable
- Works effectively both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications & Requirements
Preferred qualifications include:
- Dance Teaching Qualification or relevant dance training
- Experience working with primary-aged children
- First Aid Qualification (desirable)
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport (preferred)
Experience in a variety of dance styles, including contemporary, street dance, musical theatre, freestyle or commercial dance, would be advantageous.
