The Cliff Hotel & Spa is a 76-bedroom hotel overlooking Cardigan Bay and forms part of the Flatrock Group, a family-owned collection of hospitality businesses across West Wales. The group includes The Gwbert Hotel, The Black Lion Hotel, The Grosvenor, The Angel Hotel, The Harbourmaster Hotel, and Gwbert Holidays.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Reservations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our reservations function. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring bookings are managed accurately and efficiently while supporting a smooth guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all reservations, including bookings, amendments, and enquiries
- Monitor room availability, rates, and occupancy
- Ensure accurate use of PMS systems, billing, and reporting
- Support and work closely with the reception team
- Handle guest queries and feedback professionally
- Assist with forecasting and performance tracking
- Maintain clear communication with housekeeping, food & beverage, spa, and events teams
About You
- Experience in a reservations or front office role
- Organised and detail-focused
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confident using hotel systems
- Professional and calm under pressure
- Welsh language skills are an advantage
