Job description:
The EPA Business Standards Apprenticeship Assessor will support the design, delivery and award of NQual Business Apprenticeship Standards Levels 2-7 including but not limited to Operations Manager, Coaching Professional, Team Leader, Associate Project Manager and Senior Leader. They will ensure rigorous assessment is provided for all learners who undertake an End-Point Assessment with NQual.
It is expected that the person suitable for this role will have experience delivering high-level assessments and be able to demonstrate a can do, solutions-focused attitude. They will be required to keep abreast of any changes within their chosen sector and support with standardisation events for all internal and external Independent End-Point Assessors.
Duties
· Delivering End Point Assessment in line with various Business Standards including Customer Service Specialist, Customer Service Practitioner, Coaching Professional, Operations Manager and Senior Leader (variety of standards Levels 2-7).
· Working with the Business EPA Manager to support and deliver as part of the Assessment Team
· Conducting high quality End Point Assessment in line with associated assessment plans
· Using our EPA platform to record EPAs, completing all grading justifications within 2 days of EPA completion.
· Keeping CPD record up to date.
· Raising any known conflicts of interest with NQual.
· Informing NQual of any concerns of malpractice/maladministration.
· Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency.
· Engaging with internal quality assurance processes
· Actively participating in, and, when required, lead moderation, standardisation and development activities and meetings
· As necessary, supporting the development and delivery of training of freelance EPA’s, to ensure a successful EPA experience for all NQual Apprentices
· Keep up-to-date with all policies relevant to EPA.
· Maintaining, keeping up to date and communicating changes to End Point Assessment.
· The position is home based with most assessments completed remotely, therefore, the ability to manage your own time and workload is essential.

· Hold a relevant leadership and management qualification, at Level 7 (or equivalent) - Essential
· Hold a relevent leadership and management qualification at Level 5 - Essential
· Hold a formal qualification in coaching at Level 5 - Desirable
· Have experience of producing clear and accurate reports
· Are able to work independently with excellent time management and organisational skills, and as part of a wider team supporting our freelance End Point Assessors
· Ability to recognise change and improvement requirements and offer a solution-driven approach
· Are able to develop rapid and long-lasting rapport with team members, customers and stakeholders
· Have a passion for assessment and the opportunities that it brings to others.
· If successful in this post you will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, or be registered on the update service.
· Although this role is home based, please note that there is a requirement to attend team days within the office around 3 times a year.

Pay: £34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
