Fencing Operative
Location: Based in Penrith
Full Time, 40 hours/week, Permanent, Immediate Start
Pay : £13.00 to £14.20 per hour (subject to training and experience)
Job Description
Due to continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our established Fencing team at Lowther Forestry Group Ltd. Based at our Head Office near Penrith, the successful candidates will join our existing fencing teams installing a wide variety of fencing specifications for our clients. Most work locations are to be found within daily travelling distance of the Lowther depot, but candidates should be aware that working away from home may be required at times to suit individual contract requirements. The role will be physically demanding and will include manual handling on a daily basis in addition to the frequent use of plant, machinery & equipment.
Training Delivery
Training will be delivered to candidates through a combination of in-house/on the job training and via external training providers.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have previous experience in fencing operations and may already hold relevant CSCS, CPCS and or NPTC certifications.
Knowledge
An understanding of basic fence installation methods/techniques required, together with a good work ethic, a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
Experience
Experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
Skills
Good work ethic with the ability to work as part of a team.
Enthusiastic, motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Ability to communicate with team members.
Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
