Band 3 Finance Officer - Downpatrick
The role of Finance Officer:
- Contribute to the Trust's overall Financial Governance Framework
- Process financial information in line with policies and procedures within required timescales
- Respond to and investigate queries from a wide range of stakeholders, providing clear and accurate information to both financial and non-financial colleagues
- Maintain and assist with reconciliations of control accounts
- Support compliance with Public Sector Prompt Payment Policy
- Deliver high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of systems and procedures
- Accurately input, process, monitor, and validate financial data in a timely manner
- Plan and manage workload effectively to meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial deadlines
The ideal Finance Officer:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
These roles are available across multiple locations including Dundonald (Cash Office), Downpatrick, and Lisburn, within the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust Finance and Estates Directorate.
