RECRUITMENT RESOURCER – TRADES & LABOUR

Allied Recruitment Services Ltd is looking for a motivated and organised Recruitment Resourcer to join our busy Trades & Labour department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop a career within the recruitment industry.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30am – 5:30pm
- Friday: 07:30am – 5:00pm
Holiday Entitlement:
- 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and attracting candidates for Trades & Labour vacancies
- Advertising vacancies on job boards and social media platforms
- Screening CVs and conducting candidate registration interviews
- Building and maintaining a database of skilled trades and labour workers
- Conducting reference checks and right-to-work verification
- Matching suitable candidates to client requirements
- Managing candidate availability and bookings
- Liaising with clients regarding staffing requirements
- Maintaining accurate candidate records and compliance documentation
- Supporting Recruitment Consultants with daily resourcing activities
- Handling incoming calls and candidate enquiries
- Assisting with onboarding and induction processes
- Ensuring all recruitment activities comply with company policies and employment legislation
- Supporting our Driving and Industrial division and our payroll manager
The Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous recruitment or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
