About the Role
Outdoor Makeover Group is looking for a skilled Balustrade Installer to join our growing team. We're passionate about transforming outdoor spaces to the highest standard, and this is a genuinely hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship.
You'll install all types of glass balustrades and fabricate bespoke handrails on site, working directly at a wide variety of customer locations. No two days are the same — one project might be a sleek glass balcony, the next a made-to-measure handrail crafted to fit a unique space. If you love practical, skilled work and enjoy seeing a finished result you can be proud of, you'll feel right at home with us.
You'll be based at our Launceston depot and provided with your own works van, giving you the freedom and flexibility to get out and deliver outstanding results for our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing all types of glass balustrades to a high standard of finish
- Fabricating and making bespoke handrails on site, tailored to each customer's requirements
- Measuring, preparing and fitting components accurately and safely
- Working across multiple customer locations throughout the South West
- Maintaining your works van, tools and equipment in good order
- Delivering a friendly, professional service that reflects our commitment to customer satisfaction
- Keeping each site clean, safe and tidy throughout the project
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in balustrade installation, fabrication or a closely related trade
- Confident working with glass, metalwork and bespoke handrail fabrication
- A keen eye for detail and a genuine commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to read measurements and work accurately on site
- A full, valid UK driving licence
- Good communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude
- Reliable, self-motivated and happy to work both independently and as part of a team
