Classes run approx. 42 weeks per year, some work in the school holidays is therefore required.

Key Skills/Attributes:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A passion for children and for teaching.
No previous Swimming Teaching experience is necessary as full training will be given.
Clean Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check (paid for and conducted by Puddle Ducks)
Computer literate
You need to be a reasonably competent swimmer (able to swim 25m and dive to the bottom of a 2m pool).
Valid Driving Licence and use of own car is essential.
Main Responsibilities:
Teaching swimming classes for children from birth to 5 years old and / or 4-10 year olds as part of a team.
Maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for your customers
Sharing a passion for everything to do with baby swimming
Loving every second of what you do!
Basic qualifications will need to be achieved with our help and support:
STA Baby & Pre-School Swimming or STA Swimming Teacher courses which are between 3-5 days, see our website and individual vacancies for upcoming course dates.
STA Lifesaving course which is a 1 day course.
Puddle Ducks in house training.
Rewards:
- Hourly rates start at £14.75 for trainees (with no previous swimming teaching experience, where we have paid for all training) when initially signed off to teach solo, rising quickly, up to a maximum of £26.50 at weekends after 2 years of teaching.
