Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort within our establishment. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable, along with janitorial skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating welcoming environments for guests.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust surfaces thoroughly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning products
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
