Job Role: Business Analyst
Location: London
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday
Role Overview
The Business Analyst will serve a dual function, aligning business requirements with technical solutions while ensuring the integrity and quality of systems and data. This role encompasses eliciting and analysing requirements, collaborating closely with stakeholders, and conducting testing to validate functionality and maintain data accuracy.
The person required for this role will be joining a small dynamic team and ideally be solution focussed. The role which is remote based with occasional trips into our offices so the candidate will need to be work autonomously on their objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis:
- Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories.
- Data mapping & migration planning
- Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide training/documentation for end-users as required.
Testing:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements.
- Perform regression and integration testing across systems.
- Identify, document, track defects and work with software vendors on resolution.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
- Cover all aspects of UAT with end users
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: IT apprenticeship or Degree in related field.
- Experience:
- 2+ years in Business Analysis and/or Testing roles.
- Experience with requirements gathering and documentation.
- Hands-on experience in software testing methodologies and tools.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with Office 365, SQL, & Azure Devops
- Experience implementing APIs
- Familiarity with Creatio a benefit
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to step in at all levels to ensure tasks are completed within specified timeframes
Preferred:
- Experience in Block Management or Lettings environment
- Experience working in a multi branded business
