Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens, towels, and residents clothing within our establishment. The Laundry Attendant will ensure that all laundry is processed efficiently and to the highest standards, contributing to the overall guest experience.
Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry items as per our standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while handling chemicals and equipment.
- Assist in the training of new staff members as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home setting is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £9.80-£12.82 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 16 per week
