We are Care TaylorMade, an OUTSTANDING Supported Living Service in Darlington, providing support to adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Epilepsy and Complex Needs.
Due to expansion at our other services, we are looking to recruit a support worker with the right values, behaviours and passion to enhance the lives of the people we support to meet their individual daily care needs and achieve what is important to them however big or small this may be.

- Develop their skills and education through promotion of participation in training and courses appropriate to their individual career path and interests.
It is essential you are able to work evenings and weekends. You will be expected to lone work at times.
It is also essential that you have a full and clean driving licence and enjoy a varied working day.
Responsibilities and Duties
The duties are varied and may change from day to day as our customers are all individual and need to be treated as such, but generally you will be expected to provide support with daily living skills, personal care needs as well as support to their health and social wellbeing. This could include arts and crafts, swimming, musical evenings, gardening, baking, cooking, sports, shopping trips, health appointments and social occasions.
We welcome all of our staffs input into improving and changing the lives of the people we support, due to this we require someone who is genuinely interested in their role, in caring for others, developing new ways of working to meet outcomes and has the ability to work as part of a team in order to achieve this.
We expect all staff to understand the ever changing needs of our services, the people we support and their team members and so applications from supportive and understanding individuals who can place the needs of others above their own is welcomed.
Qualifications and Skills
