In this role, you will:
· Undertake risk assessments and care plans accordingly, in line with the THRIVE framework Provide high standards of evidence based client centred care to children and young people with mental health [CYPMH] problems
- You will lead a team of professional and support staff in the delivery of high-quality evidence-based practice, ensuring that regular supervision and appraisal take place.
- Provide interventions, advice, consultancy and supervision to both colleagues and colleagues within external partner agencies in line with THRIVE
- You be responsible for the screening of referrals to children and Young People’s services, including urgent referrals 1.6. To participate directly in the teams duty rota’s.
- May be required to work with people in their own homes as well as visiting service users in hospital to assess and care plan for treatment
- May be required to Participate on a Duty/ triage rota
What you’ll need—and be able to provide evidence for:
- You will possess an active registration with Social Work England (SWE).
- You will have a recognised professional qualification in Social Work.
- Demonstrable management skills.
- You will be able to demonstrate experience of working with complex mental health problems and if you have worked with Children .
