Summary
Evoke Staffing are excited to announce that we are seeking dedicated and reliable street cleansers to join a well establish client in the Cardiff area. This will be ongoing work within an experienced team, so the right candidate needs to have strong people skills and not shy of getting stuck in. This role can be physically demanding so reasonable level of fitness will be required.
Shift Patterns - Successful candidate would only be placed on one of the below shifts
- Tuesday to Friday 6:30 - 15:45
- Monday to Friday 15:00 - 23:30
- Tuesday to Friday 13:00 - 21:00
- Saturday to Monday 13:00 - 21:00
Pay Rates
- £13.47 p/h days
- £17.92 p/h Nights (between 20:00 - 6:00)
- £20.21 p/h Weekends
Duties:
- Perform cleaning tasks such power washing streets, road etc
- Lifting heavy items for disposal
- Ensure deep cleansing are maintained following events and festivals within the area
- Painting and maintenance of the bin/refuse areas
- Power tool use - Leaf blowing, hedging cutting and strimming (full training will be provided)
- Paving/Slap work - Removal of weeds and moss and leaf fall removal.
Skills:
- Must have a Full driving licence with no major endorsements - (Manual)
- Good understanding of English to follow instructions and communicate effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues
- Previous experience in this industry would be beneficial
- All successful candidates will require a basis manual handling certificate prior starting.
- Previous power tool experience would be beneficial but not essential.
