This beautiful 4x bedded learning disability specialist children’s home is based in Biggleswade (SG18) + offers a home to 4x wonderful young people

⭐ Shifts ⭐
- 40x hours per week
- Flexible shifts
- Long day: 7am-8pm
- Short shifts: 7am-2pm and 1pm-9pm
- No sleep-in shifts
⭐ About the home ⭐
This is an 'OUTSTANDING' rated 4x bedded children’s home currently supports young people aged 5-14 who are all in education. The home cares for four young people including:
- Twin 5 year-old girls with non-verbal autism
- There is also an active and energetic 8 year-old who enjoys a wide range of activities, especially outdoors
- The fourth young person is an 8 year-old with a physical disability who regularly attends sensory sessions, physiotherapy and family visits
The home promotes positive outcomes with a focus on stability and progression, working towards returning young people to foster care or family settings where appropriate. Overall, behaviours are low-level, and the home is rated outstanding in all areas.
⭐ Minimum must-haves⭐
- Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or Ofsted equivalent)
- 1+ years’ experience in Residential Childcare
- Manual driving licence
