Hours of work: Monday - Friday (term time only)
After School club: 3,15pm – 5:45pm
Job Description:
*Creating and managing a welcoming, fun and exciting after school club setting following Ofsted regulations.
Managing the day-to-day running of the after school club
*Liaise with Management daily
*Liaise with the school daily and create a positive working relationship
*Deal with questions / complaints professionally
* Assisting with the day-to-day running of the After School Club, including setting up and clearing up.
* Preparing snack and drinks line with club’s Healthy Eating Policy.
* Supervising play opportunities with children.
* Managing the planning and preparation of craft activities and assisting children with these.
*General health and safety – ensuring the play environment is safe for the children to enjoy.
Qualifications:
A Level 3 qualification in Playwork or CCLD is an advantage.
Opportunities to further develop qualifications within role.
Current First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene Certificates an advantage.
Experience: Playwork / childcare experience with children aged 3 – 11 years essential.
Two references will be required at interview stage.
