Overview
We are MediMatch Dental. Our business operates across multiple subsidiaries with two core areas: a full-service dental laboratory (digital and traditional) through MediMatch Dental Lab Ltd, and workflow-driven solutions supporting dentists with in-surgery restorative systems via MediMatch Supplies Ltd.
Our lab specialises in high-quality digital workflows, with a strong focus on precision, innovation, and efficiency across all restorative cases.
We are looking for an experienced CAD/CAM Dental Technician (Designer) to join our growing digital team. This is a fully on-site role, ideal for someone confident working independently and experienced in advanced digital dental design workflows.
This position is suited to a technician with strong Exocad experience, particularly in implant design, who is looking to work in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Duties
- Design a range of dental restorations, including:
- Crowns & bridges
- Dentures
- Night guards
- Digital wax-ups
- Implant restorations
- Design implant bridges, including immediate loading cases
- Work extensively with implant cases using Exocad
- Plan implant cases accurately and efficiently
- Align scan bodies with correct implant libraries
- Adjust and modify existing CAD files
- Download, install, and manage implant libraries within Exocad
- Apply photogrammetry workflows to implant cases
- Ensure high-quality, precise digital designs across all cases
Requirements
- Proven experience with Exocad, particularly in implant design
- Strong understanding of photogrammetry workflows
- Experience designing implant bridges for immediate loading
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and restorative design
- Ability to manage and maintain implant libraries
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Experience across a range of dental appliances
Position Details:
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
- Location: On-site (UK)
Assessment Process:
Successful candidates will be required to complete a bench test, designing CAD cases on the day to demonstrate their technical ability.
Probation Period:
This role includes a 3-month probation period.
