We require an enthusiastic experienced Senior Reablement Care and Support Assistant (Nights) for a part time posts at Jack Sears House.
This post will specialise in caring for people who are working towards going home following a period of reablement at Jack Sears House. Our team work in collaboration with the NHS reablement team to support the resident on their journey to recovery and home.
A level 3 health and social care diploma is desirable but not essential for this role initially however it will be an expectation that you commence it after your successful probationary period. Continues professional development is offered throughout your career on areas that not only enhance the service but your personal development.
The candidate needs to be proficient in medication management ideally with a current and up to date competency certificate however refresher training can be given during induction. Knowledge of writing risk assessments and care plans are essential.
You will be responsible for the night team, and allocating duties.
You will be responsible for the care and support of the residents in your care.
You will be supported by the on call managers.
Night shifts are 19.00 to 08.00, we are looking for reliable and enthusiastic staff, who understand the reablement ethos.
