Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-time Waiter to join our egg-cellent team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times
- Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness of the dining area throughout service
- Handle guest enquiries courteously, providing excellent guest services at all times
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Support with opening and closing duties, including setting up tables and cleaning work areas
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
- Experience with guest services, upselling, and creating a welcoming environment is desirable
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
