We now need to recruit an exceptional member of staff to join our team as a Head of Leisure Supervisor.
This is a full time role, working on a rota basis you must be available for both day and evening shifts including weekends, school and bank holidays.
To succeed in the position of Leisure Supervisor, you will:
- Have previous experience within a leisure and fitness environment, ideally within a supervisory role
- Have previous experience in pool plant
- Hold qualifications in health/fitness/leisure, in particular gym and swimming pool
- Have an interest in health and fitness
- Have a passion for delivering first-class levels of customer service
- Have excellent communication skills and an ability to build a rapport with both customers and colleagues
- Possess a strong work ethic and thrive in a busy environment
Main purpose of the role of Leisure Supervisor:
- Lead our leisure team to sell leisure club membership, interact with members to provide information, guidance and assistance, and provide a first-class experience to all leisure club members and customers.
Main tasks of our Leisure Supervisor:
- Oversee leisure team, allocating tasks to ensure smooth delivery of first-class level of customer service
- Book in and greet all leisure club members using the gym and pool
- Walk around the gym and pool checking for cleanliness and engage with members at the same time
- Undertake training as an emergency pool responder and be ready to effect first aid or, worse-case scenario, to perform rescue
- Ensure all pool and plant room checks are completed and relevant actions undertaken as a priority
- Undertake rota schedules and organise holiday cover
