Job Title: Shunter Driver (Night Shift)
Location: Liverpool, L11
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shunter Driver to join a busy logistics operation in Liverpool L11. This is an ongoing position with immediate start available.
Shift Details:
- Start time: 00:00 (midnight)
- Typical shift length: 6–7 hours
- 8 hours paid guaranteed per shift
- Working pattern: 5 nights per week
Pay Rates:
- £19.08 per hour (before 06:00)
- £16.36 per hour (after 06:00)
- Plus 28 days of paid holiday per year
Duties:
- Yard shunting of trailers between bays and parking areas
- Positioning trailers safely and efficiently for loading/unloading
- Supporting warehouse and transport operations
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Following all site health & safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Previous shunting or yard experience preferred
- Good awareness of health & safety
- Ability to work night shifts consistently
