Multi-Drop Delivery Driver – Organic Home Delivery Business
Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our organic home delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering fresh organic produce to customers' homes efficiently and with excellent service. The position offers a consistent Monday-to-Friday schedule with a 6:00 AM start.
Key Responsibilities: Delivery Operations:
- Deliver fresh organic produce to multiple residential addresses along a designated route.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, meeting daily schedules.
- Load and unload the van carefully to prevent damage to produce.
Customer Service:
- Provide friendly and professional service to all customers.
- Communicate effectively if there are any issues or delays with deliveries.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the van is in good working condition.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the company van.
- Report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly.
Safety Compliance:
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure the safe transport of goods, securing all items properly.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous delivery driving experience, particularly in multi-drop or food delivery, is preferred.
- Driver’s License: A valid, clean UK driving license.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry boxes of produce, up to 20kg.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries within a strict schedule.
- Reliability: Dependable with a strong work ethic, arriving punctually for early starts.
