Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and intellectually challenging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Provide specialized instruction at Key Stage 5 (A-Level and/or IB) for students exploring advanced literary theory, textual analysis, and historical contexts.
- Cultivate students' critical thinking, essay writing, and verbal communication skills across all age groups.
- Lead and support co-curricular enrichment, such as the school magazine, debating clubs, drama productions, or external writing competitions.
- Contribute to the holistic life of the school, including serving as a pastoral form tutor and supporting the wider school community.
Who We Are Looking For

- Academic Background: A strong honors degree in English Literature, English Language, or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- Qualifications: QTS or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification (significant experience in the independent sector is highly desirable).
