Summary
We are seeking a motivated Trainee to join our team in. Our teams work predominantly within client's homes and therefore we expect the right candidate to be considerate of this. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in staircase refurbishment, carpentry, and construction. You will contribute to transforming residential properties with your hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of staircase components using hand tools and power tools.
- Support carpenters and joiners in various refurbishment tasks.
- Learn to operate roofing, masonry, plumbing, and electrical tools under supervision.
- Participate in heavy lifting and installation activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
- Qualifications
- Enthusiasm for learning construction and carpentry skills.
- Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
- Prior experience in construction or woodworking is a plus but not required.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
