Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen operations by assisting in food preparation and ensuring that our high standards of food safety and quality are maintained. Duties
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes as directed by the Head Chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Support the cooking process by preparing sauces, garnishes, and other components as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing food products appropriately.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques.
- Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
