Maintenance & Repair Worker
£15.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Locations: Bradford, Keighley, Kirklees & Calderdale, Skipton & Harrogate
We're looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance & Repair Worker to join our team on a temporary 3-month contract.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be carrying out a range of maintenance and repair tasks across properties, helping to keep them safe, clean, and in good condition for the people who use them.
Please note: You must hold a full UK driving licence, have regular access to your own vehicle (van preferred), and provide your own tools to be considered for this role, as travel between sites is required.
What you'll be doing:
- General property maintenance and repairs
- Basic plumbing (non-gas)
- Joinery and flooring repairs
- Painting and decorating
- Boarding up and replacing broken windows
- Moving, assembling and dismantling furniture
- Removing unwanted items and rubbish
- General upkeep of properties and surrounding grounds
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a similar role
- Practical skills across a range of maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Understanding of health and safety requirements within maintenance work
- A professional and reliable approach
- Experience supporting or working with people facing challenges such as homelessness, mental health issues, substance misuse, or a history of offending is desirable
