Job Summary
Chapel en le Frith ladies choir is seeking a dedicated and skilled Piano Accompanist to support our choir during rehearsals and performances. The role has become vacant as after 25 years the current accompanist is retiring. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with choir directors and singers, providing musical accompaniment that enhances the overall quality of performances. The choir sings a varied and continually developing repertoire ranging from classical to modern, sacred to secular. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings from 7.30 to 9.30 in Chapel en le Frith town hall. We perform several times a year and the successful candidate will expected to take part in these concerts
Experience
- Proven experience as a pianist, preferably with a background in accompanying choirs or vocal groups.
- Strong proficiency in sight-reading
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 11 months
Pay: £35.00 per hour
