Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welders to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for fabricating and welding to detailed drawings ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. Regular overtime paid at a time and a third over the fixed 42.5 hours per week.
Duties :
- Mig welding
- Fabricate parts using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide fabrication processes.
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections of welds and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Good understanding of basic math's for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Familiarity with assembly procedures and mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Prior experience working with various metals and materials is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates willing to learn. Pay: £17.50-£19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 – 47.5 per week
