Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the bar area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- A commitment to food safety practices and an understanding of relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members.
- A proactive attitude towards helping others and ensuring customer satisfaction within the restaurant environment.
