The Role
You will support fee earners within a busy residential conveyancing department, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of property transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with residential property matters from instruction through to completion
- Preparing contract packs and supporting documentation
- Carrying out conveyancing searches and reviewing results
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and estate agents
- Updating case management systems accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with exchanges and completions
- Drafting basic legal correspondence and documentation
- Providing general administrative and legal support to fee earners
- Supporting the smooth running of a busy caseload
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will gain real exposure to the full conveyancing process.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in residential conveyancing or property law support
- Understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage deadlines
- Confident using case management systems and IT tools
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role
