A boutique firm providing accountancy and management services to a variety of corporate clients and individuals is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper and Administrative Office Coordinator to join our friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and supportive office environment. The role will involve supporting the accountancy team with a variety of client work, as well as assisting with the day-to-day administrative duties of the office.
The ideal candidate will be in the early stages of studying towards a bookkeeping or accountancy qualification and will ideally have some practical experience using bookkeeping software, along with a good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
Although not essential, knowledge of the Italian language would be an advantage, as many of our clients are Italian-speaking.
Key Responsibilities includes:
· Processing sales and purchase invoices
· Performing bank and account reconciliations
· Handling multi-currency transactions
· Posting journals
· Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
· Printing and filing documents and maintaining clients’ records
· Raising up to 20 sales invoices monthly using Sage 50
· Processing bank payments for office-related invoices
· Ordering office supplies and managing relationships with suppliers
· Supporting both the accountancy and admin teams with ad hoc tasks
Working Hours:
Flexible working is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
