Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide essential support to an individual in their home for 6 hours a week, flexibility is essential as additional hours maybe required on an ad hoc basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the client by assisting with personal care, daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal care routines, meal preparation and mobility assistance.
- Companionship - building relationships, and accompanying on activities outside of the home including hospital appointments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred; although training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support Client.
- Ability to work independently.
- A valid driving licence is required for this position to facilitate travel to appointments.
- A caring attitude and the ability to empathise with individuals from diverse backgrounds are essential traits for success in this role
Pay: £12.71 per hour
