Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations

- Oversee food safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative recipes
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise kitchen efficiency
- Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Strong leadership abilities with previous supervising experience in a culinary environment
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
- Skilled in food preparation, presentation, and flavour balancing
- Ability to manage a team effectively, fostering a positive work environment
- Good organisational skills with the capacity to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in restaurant service and hospitality operations is desirable
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
