HGV Class 1 Driver – Immediate Start – Stevenage
Monday to Friday | 07:00 – 17:00 | £19.00 per hour | Temp to Perm
We are currently seeking reliable and motivated HGV Drivers to join our team in the Stevenage area. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent work, competitive pay, and the chance to secure a permanent role.
The Role:
As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for delivering scaffold materials using flatbed vehicles. This role involves both Class 1 and Class 2 driving, so flexibility is essential.
- Driving both Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 vehicles
- Deliveries primarily into London (typically one drop and one collection/clear)
- Operating flatbed trucks for a scaffold company
- Assisting with loading and unloading the vehicle
- Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
- Ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence (Class 2 also required)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Willingness to assist with loading/unloading
- Flexibility to switch between Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- New pass drivers are welcome
