Overview
We are seeking a skilled FLT Driver (Flexi) to join our dynamic warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a flexible forklift (Flexi), managing materials handling, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience and mechanical aptitude to contribute to efficient warehouse management and logistics processes. Hours
07.00 to 15.30 Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Operate a flexible forklift (Flexi) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse
- Manage materials handling tasks, ensuring accurate movement of stock in accordance with warehouse procedures
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including the organisation of incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Conduct basic equipment repairs or report maintenance issues promptly to minimise downtime
- Utilise Warehouse Management System (WMS) software for inventory tracking and documentation
- Perform load & unload operations, ensuring loads are secure and compliant with safety standards
- Support warehouse organisation by maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Assist in stock rotation, storage optimisation, and order fulfilment as required
Requirements
- Proven experience operating forklift trucks, preferably Flexi or similar models
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs or troubleshooting
- Experience in materials handling, shipping & receiving, and general warehouse operations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in line with health and safety regulations
- Basic maths skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy
- Prior warehouse experience is highly desirable
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work flexibly within a team environment in a fast-paced setting
