Are you an experienced Audio-Visual (AV) Technician seeking a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment? Sounds Commercial, a leading provider of AV and event production services, is hiring in the Bristol area. This is a unique opportunity to work across both our busy hire department and events department, delivering exceptional AV solutions.
Role Overview
You will support our equipment hire operations while working with the events team to deliver flawless corporate events, live productions, and conferences. This dual-role offers variety and the chance to expand your technical expertise. You will be based in Bristol but also working throughout Cardiff and the South West region.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee AV equipment hire processes, including preparation, testing, and customer support.
Install, operate, and maintain AV equipment (audio, video, and lighting) for live events.
Provide on-site technical support during events and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Work closely with clients to ensure their technical requirements are met.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an AV Technician in hire or event production.
Strong knowledge of AV equipment, including sound systems, projectors, and video systems.
Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-moving work environment.
Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends when needed.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
