What Youll Do
As a Cable Hand, youll:
- Support Site Supervisors, Electricians and Jointers with site electrical installations

Assist with lighting and power, cable tray/ladder, cable installation and switchgear installation

Carry out installation of LV and HV cabling using cable rig, trailer and winch methods

Carry out earthing installations where required

Support HV teams on larger site installations and assist with site breakdowns and investigations

Work safely, take care of company property and project a professional image to clients and colleagues

What Were Looking For Cable Hand
- JIB-approved ECS card
-
Full UK Driving Licence & Right to Work in the UK

Experience of working on construction sites
-
Experience working on commercial and industrial installations

Ability to work proactively on your own or as part of a team

Experience of working within the electrical power sector desirable

Strong communication, attention to detail and a flexible, can-do approach
