Shala Studio is looking for a proactive, creative, and confident Social Media Outreach & Content Assistant to help promote the studio, grow our online community, support new client onboarding, and create engaging social media content.
This is a part-time role for 20 hours per week on a 3-month fixed-term contract, paid at £16 per hour. The role can be done remotely from anywhere, but you must be able to work close to UK working hours and have the right to work in the UK.
We are looking for someone confident with social media, who enjoys connecting with people online, and has strong written and spoken English. Experience or interest in yoga, breathwork, and wellness would be very helpful.
Key Responsibilities
You will support Shala Studio with:
- Promoting the studio through social media outreach
- Connecting with potential clients, collaborators, local businesses, and community groups
- Responding to enquiries and helping guide new clients through the onboarding process
- Creating social media content, including posts, stories, reels, captions, and simple graphics
- Helping plan and schedule content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or LinkedIn
- Supporting campaigns, class promotions, events, offers, and studio updates
- Keeping the Shala Studio tone warm, welcoming, and professional
- Tracking basic engagement and helping identify what content is working well
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has the right to work in the UK
- Can work remotely while staying close to UK working hours
- Has excellent written and spoken English
- Is confident using social media for outreach, promotion, and community-building
- Can create clear, engaging, and visually appealing content
- Is comfortable writing captions, messages, and short promotional copy
- Is friendly, organised, reliable, and proactive
- Can work independently and manage their time well
- Understands or has an interest in yoga, breathwork, wellness, or movement
- Is comfortable representing the Shala Studio brand in a warm, professional way
Experience with Canva, Instagram Reels, content scheduling tools, or social media analytics would be helpful.
