The Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant (Richmond)
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Role Focus: Aspiring Educational Psychologists or SEN Teachers
- Responsibilities: 1:1 and Small Group Interventions
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (Term Time Only)
- Salary: £565 - £575 per week
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised support to children with additional needs, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Lead engaging sessions with small groups and individuals to foster growth and confidence.
- Collaborate with professionals to assess and develop tailored educational plans.
- Ensure every child feels safe, supported, and empowered both at school and at home.
- Plan and resource intervention sessions that make a real difference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field (2.2 or above)
- Experience working with children, desirable but not essential
- Strong communication skills for effective teaching and interaction
- Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and strategies for support
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
