The Concept Group are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Technician to join our growing team based at our offices in Dunmurry Business Park, Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to become part of a fast-paced and expanding business. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate financial records and assisting with the smooth running of the accounts function.
Working Pattern

- Monday to Friday
- 9am - 5pm

The Role
- Processing purchase and sales invoices.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Bank reconciliations and cash management.
- Credit control and customer account management.
- Preparing financial reports and management information.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
- Supporting the wider administration and finance teams as required.
- Processing VAT
The Person
- Previous experience working in an accounts or finance role.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Managing Multi Task deadlines and financial records efficiently
- A qualification such as AAT or equivalent.
- Experience using Sage, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Experience working within a multi-site or service-based business.
- Understanding of trader support services (TSS declartions)
- Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis. The post also requires proficient skills in computer literacy.
