Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator
Location: Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00 (30 mins lunch)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Igloo is looking for Vehicle Damage Assessors/Estimators to join our client’s team in Upper Heyford.
Our client is one of the UK’s leading automotive & logistics companies, with operations across the country, and they are looking for a skilled Vehicle Estimator to join their team.
The Role
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will:
- Ensure accurate vehicle damage estimations, following industry guidelines.
- Document vehicle estimates clearly and accurately using industry systems.
- Prioritise workloads to ensure repairs progress efficiently.
- Work closely with the technical team to communicate repair methods and requirements.
- Carry out any ad-hoc duties as required.
The Person
- Previous experience as a Bodyshop Estimator or Vehicle Damage Assessor.
- ATA (Automotive Technical Accreditation) accredited – essential.
- Experience using the Audatex estimation system.
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate estimates.
- Effective communicator with strong planning and organisational skills.
- Able to work to deadlines and identify potential risks within the repair process.
- A collaborative team player.
